Neutrog Fertilisers was first established in Australia in 1988 and has since grown to become one of the largest organic fertiliser manufactures in that country—primarily supplying its premium products to conventional farmers and growers within the horticultural & broadacre markets along with, small but ever increasing quantities, being supplied to certified organic growers.
The Neutrog fertilisers are also widely used within the Home Garden and the Turf, Parks and Gardens markets.
In the late 1990’s Neutrog Africa was formed—a manufacturing under license operation based in Cape Town, South Africa, which has very quickly successfully established itself as a market force in a similar manner to Neutrog Australia.
Neutrog Ireland was founded in 2009 by Niall Reynolds—Niall is from a farming background and studied Agricultural Science at University College, Dublin. Whilst researching ways to better utilise the excess manures produced by his families poultry business, Niall discovered Neutrog in Australia and South Africa—following a visit to Neutrog Australia in 2008 Niall decided to set-up Neutrog Fertilisers Ireland, a licensed manufacturing and marketing company for Neutrog products in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
The manufacturing facility is located in Clones Co. Monaghan, from where the company sources its staff and raw materials locally.
